Why I Started Doing What I'm Doing
Creating custom gifts and art has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I was constantly inspired by my Mom, a talented graphic designer who created incredible things for the US military during her career with The American Forces Network Europe (AFN Europe). Watching her work instilled in me a deep love for art. Designing not only allows me to express my creativity, but it also fosters a unique connection with my mom and the wonderful memories of my childhood.
As a US Air Force spouse, in addition to being a US Army brat as a child, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know people from all over the world and the opportunity to travel with my amazing family around the US and Europe, experiencing diverse cultures and meeting wonderful people. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the importance of community and the bonds that connect us all.
Thanks to my family's unwavering support, I was able to turn my passion for design into a fulfilling career. I launched imperfect by design co. in 2018 to provide personalized gifts and decor for residents and businesses in Fayette and Coweta counties and support local non-profits that make a difference every day.
I am immensely grateful for the support I have received from my local community. It fuels my passion and drives me to create unique, meaningful products that bring joy and connection to others. Being able to give back and support causes close to my heart is an integral part of what I do.
Thank you for sharing this journey with me. Your support not only helps my business thrive but also strengthens the bonds within our community. I look forward to continuing to create beautiful, personalized items that celebrate our local connections.
